ART TREK 6 IS NOW RUNNING until September 12, 2009 at Galerie Mekanik. The opening night was awesome, with 10 out of 14 artists present and a short dj set by Julien and Sammy - pictures online soon!
A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY:
"Art Trek" is an annual group art show organized by and for young illustrative artists. The gallery of comic book shop Mekanik Strip in Antwerp, Belgium is the place to be: these guys rock so much that they let us use their space for free and help us in any way they can to promote the event. Thanks to sponsoring from SMartBe and Levis we're able to pay for our flyers and materials, and paint a mural at the gallery, which is of course extremely awesome.
